Probably because MOAB is nicknamed Mother of all Bombs and everyone will "swoon" that Trump ordered another bombing, and this one the largest non-nuclear weapon in the arsenal.
Maybe he thought it was named after his administration
LOL. It does make for better TV. Not much to see from an underground bomb; just a big puff of dust.
