TrumpCrimeWave?: Racist Incident at Baylor?

So here's a Washington Post editorial on the alleged Trumpcrime wave.
The flagship incident in the editorial is this one.
Question: how likely do you think it is that Ms. Nkhama's account of the incident is veridical?

I have no reason not to believe her. This fits with what many Trump supporters did at his rallies (ah, those sucker punches and chants; what were those chants again?). And watch the video (don't have it handy) of that kid in Ohio rushing down some stairs and 'taking out' another student who was simply making a speech against Trump.

Holy crap!

I tried to watch that video a few days ago and something went wrong and I didn't get back to it later.

ok, that was brutal, and relevant. Point take.

I *will* say that the tackler didn't look quite right even from just the glimpse you get of him in the video.

But--do you really think that you have *no* reason not to believe her? Even given the large number of "hate-crime" hoaxes on the left, and the Trump-related ones in particular?

My own guess was: there's less than a 50-50 chance that she's telling the truth. That is, if I were asked to bet, I might be willing to place a modest bet against her account.

Should be easy enough to find the alleged witness--Baylor student probably walking to or from class at that time of day MWF or TTh, in that vicinity.

I mean...to be clear...if this *did* happen, we want the witness also to try to find the perpetrator. Sounds like assault and battery. Dude should be kicked out of school just for starters and the cops should be involved.

Okay, "no reason" is a bit strong, but with the incidences that have been occurring, I have to say this is at least plausible verging on likely. And I would hope a witness would step forward, but until then I'll err on the side of believing that it happened.

Fair enough.

As I've admitted before, I've probably lost my objectivity about this stuff.

I'll say though:
The alleged assailant saying "Just trying to make America great again"... I dunno. It just doesn't have the ring of truth about it, to my mental ear.

But that barely even rises to the level of *hunch*.

Aa,
Turns out that the attacker has some developmental problems (now I feel pretty bad about one of my comments above...), and even the victim now says that this incident was unrelated to politics.

Good to know, and that hopefully the assailant will get some help. I was about to point you to this one:

To show that this stuff is really happening (even if some events are overexaggerated)
