Probably (b), but maybe (c) The liberalish folk who have been pushing this issue continue to push it for the sake of the 10% of American Indians who are offended. One person offended is one too many for those folks.
Yeah, they really take hurt feelings--I mean, *certain* hurt feelings--seriously...
I'm not dancing in the streets about the remaining 10% or anything...but I think we can safely categorize it about two or three thousand places down on our national list of things to fret about.
