How Many Teabaggers?
About 60-75,000.
Not 500,00. Not a million. And definitely not 2 million.
American conservatives keep moving farther and farther into isolation. They've got their very own propaganda news channel now, that doesn't make any effort to be objective, they of course have their own internet news services like WorldNutDaily, and their own blogospheric echo chambers (which we have too). Now they want their own crowd estimates at rallies. Objective guesses by people with experience don't match up with their hopes and fantasies, so they just go with whatever makes them happy.

Ok, so it's only $60k, but that's $60k people WITH JOBS, unlike all those filthy, unemployed HIPPIES and MINORITIES who turn out for liberal protests. So when you account for that, it's totally the biggest protest of any kind for anything ever.

If they'd just doubled or tripled the numbers like every other protest organizer does, no one would've really thought twice. They'd have gotten away with it and everyone would be thinking "Huh, 200K is pretty impressive..." for a week. But no, there had to be more people teabagging each other on 9/12 than there were at Obama's inauguration or any other event of his. Ya know, for people who claim not to give a damn how many people attend Obama-related events, they sure do seem desperate to show him up.
But it doesn't matter that they were caught... Fox Noise & Friends simply don't report bad news, they manufacture a new controversy and their audience forgets the l... What the hell, this is OUTRAGEOUS! Glen Beck is telling me that Obama's economy czar is going to cut my chocolate ration! Goddamn fascist socialist nazi marxist oligarh!
