But, gosh, these guys are so trustworthy...I say we just take their word for it that they didn't do anything wrong.

I have no idea why major media outlets have reporters assigned to ask Scotty questions. There's no news in his answers, only in his non-answers, and the MSM is not keen to follow those non-answers where they lead.
How does that guy live with himself, anyway? His job is to spew verbiage with absolutely no concern for its truth.
His mother must be so proud.
It's sort of like being a lawyer.
